On the afternoon of July 2, 2026, a delegation led by H.E. Mr. Josefa Dimuri, president of the People’s Alliance, visited the International Poverty Reduction Center In China (IPRCC). He held talks with Mr. Liu Junwen, Director General of IPRCC on poverty reduction.

Director Liu Junwen extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by President Dimuri and briefed them on China’s experience in targeted poverty alleviation. President Dimuri shared information on poverty issues in Fiji, noting that China’s remarkable achievements in poverty reduction have garnered worldwide recognition. He expressed the hope of deepening exchanges and cooperation with China in poverty alleviation.

The officials from the Research Division, Training Division and International Exchange Division, Cooperation Division and Foreign Affairs Division of IPRCC attended the meeting.
