On the evening of May 7, 2026, Ms. Jiao Dian, Deputy Director General of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC), was invited by the University of Oxford to attend the virtual Board Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network. During the meeting, she delivered remarks introducing China’s achievements in poverty reduction and shared comments on relevant work.

The event was jointly hosted by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative and the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network. Senior representatives from countries including South Africa and Colombia also attended the meeting and delivered remarks.

Relevant personnel from the Research Division of IPRCC attended the meeting.
