Sanjeewa Wimalagunarathna, the president of the China Aid Training Alumni in Sri Lanka, says China's fight against poverty is not a short-term project, but rather a long-term commitment. Wimalagunarathna participated in a seminar hosted by the International Poverty Reduction Center in China in 2024, and has witnessed first-hand China's efforts to eliminate extreme poverty.
