On the afternoon of April 1, 2026, a delegation led by H.E. Mr. Marat Juraev, First Deputy Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan, visited the International Poverty Reduction Center In China (IPRCC). He held talks with Mr. Liu Junwen, Director General of IPRCC on exchanges and cooperation in poverty reduction.

First Deputy Minister Marat Juraev stated that his current visit to China has been highly fruitful. He expressed hope to further expand practical cooperation with China in the field of poverty reduction, and thanked IPRCC for its contributions to bilateral exchanges and cooperation on poverty reduction.

Director General Liu Junwen introduced the latest progress of China’s regular work on preventing poverty relapse and new poverty occurrence. He also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan and His Excellency the First Deputy Minister for their long-standing support for bilateral poverty reduction cooperation. Both sides held discussions on further deepening poverty reduction cooperation.

Deputy Director Jiao Dian, as well as relevant officials from the Research Division, Training Division and Foreign Affairs Division of IPRCC attended the meeting.
