On March 5, 2026, Deputy Director-General Lixin held discussion with the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund (hereinafter referred to as “the Fund”). Zhu Dongyun, Deputy Secretary-General of the Fund, and representatives from the Liaison and Development Department and the Project Integration Department also participated in the discussion.

Ms. Zhu Dongyun briefly introduced the Fund. She reviewed the public welfare programs and activities carried out by the Fund for groups including girls from impoverished families, rural left-behind children and vulnerable children, in advancing the cause of children and teenagers and promoting their all-round development, as well as the achievements and influence attained in the process.

Ms. Lixin briefed the development history, mission and functions of IPRCC. She introduced the poverty alleviation experience sharing and exchange activities conducted by IPRCC in promoting the international sharing of China’s poverty alleviation experience and the localization of international poverty alleviation experience in China, together with its efforts in building an international platform for poverty alleviation knowledge and experience sharing and developing international public knowledge products on poverty alleviation.

Both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation and leverage their respective strengths, enabling China’s poverty alleviation experience to benefit the global south countries and contribute China’s solutions and wisdom to the global poverty alleviation cause.
