Ms. Li Xin Attends the Conference on Partnerships for Rural Revitalization and Sustainable Development & Summary Meeting of Commercial Support for Rural Revitalization Project

On 22 January 2026, the Conference on Partnerships for Rural Revitalization and Sustainable Development & Summary Meeting of Commercial Support for Rural Revitalization Project, was held in Chengbu Miao Autonomous County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province. The meeting was jointly organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in China and the China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges (CICETE). Mr. James George, UNDP Resident Representative ad interim in China, and Ms. Ai Yinfang, Deputy Director General of CICETE, together with other representatives, attended the opening session and delivered remarks. Representatives from government departments, international organizations and research institutions participated in the meeting and exchanged views on poverty reduction practices, rural revitalization and sustainable development.

Ms. Li Xin, Deputy Director General of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC), was invited to attend the Conference and participated in the Panel Discussion on “Multi-Stakeholder Contributions to Rural Revitalization and Global Poverty Reduction.” During the discussion, she exchanged views on the challenges of the global poverty reduction and how different stakeholders can strengthen coordination to advance rural revitalization and global poverty reduction. She introduced the IPRCC’s work in promoting the international sharing of China’s poverty reduction experience, advancing South-South cooperation, and supporting poverty reduction capacity-building in developing countries.

Relevant staff members from the Foreign Affairs Division of the IPRCC also attended the meeting.
