On January 19, 2026, the Women’s Committee of International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) organized and hosted an exhibition and exchange event showcasing the achievements of the Heng’ai Initiative knitting program. Director General Liu Junwen, Deputy Director General Li Xin, and Deputy Director General Jiao Dian of the IPRCC attended the event. Jie Ping, Director of the IPRCC Women’s Committee, presented a report on the implementation of the Heng’ai Initiative in 2025.

A wide array of finely crafted and creatively designed knitted items were neatly displayed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. IPRCC’s leadership carefully viewed the exhibits and spoke highly of the Women’s Committee’s organizational efforts as well as the dedication and creativity of all participants. They praised the event for its heartfelt spirit and substantial outcomes, noting that it vividly demonstrated the strong sense of social responsibility and public service, and caring for areas that have cast off poverty among IPRCC staff members.
Actively responding to the call of Women's Work Committee of the Directly Affiliated Organs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and with strong support from the IPRCC leadership, the IPRCC Women’s Committee meticulously organized a series of activities under the Heng’ai Initiative. Through extensive mobilization and the organization of knitting skills workshops, staff members were guided from “wanting to knit” to “being able to knit” and ultimately to “knitting with skills and creativity.”
In 2025, more than 20 staff members and their family members used their spare time to complete 40 high-quality knitted items, including sweaters, scarves, hats, and hair accessories.
The Heng’ai Initiative not only delivered tangible warmth and care to children in areas that have cast off poverty, but also helped weave stronger bonds of unity and compassion within the Center. Looking ahead, the IPRCC Women’s Committee will continue to organize charitable activities with dedication and care, ensuring that the light of enduring love reaches more corners where warmth is needed.
