On November 27, 2025, a delegation led by Jiao Dian, Deputy Director General of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC), visited the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) and held discussions with UIBE representatives. UIBE Party Committee Secretary Huang Baoyin, along with heads of relevant departments including the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the Institute for World Important Education Center, and the Digital Economy Laboratory of UIBE attended the event.

During the discussion, Secretary Huang Baoyin first introduced UIBE’s disciplinary layout, academic program configuration, and its distinctive achievements in talent cultivation and international academic exchanges. He emphasized that UIBE has long been committed to supporting the country’s strategy of high-level opening-up and engaging in international development cooperation. He expressed the wish for more productive collaboration with IPRCC in theoretical and policy studies, international exchanges, and talent development within the field of poverty reduction and development.
Jiao Dian provided an overview of the development history and mission of IPRCC. She expressed the center’s readiness to leverage the respective strengths of both sides and enhance comprehensive cooperation. Through joint efforts in areas such as advancement of the theoretical refinement and international communication of China’s poverty reduction theory, global poverty data analysis, talent training, case development, as well as the building of international exchange platforms, both sides could contribute to advancing the cause of global poverty reduction.
Relevant staffs from the Research Division and Cooperation Division of IPRCC also participated in the event.
