Deputy Director General Li Xin of IPRCC Talks with Delegation from China Agricultural University

On the afternoon of May 29, 2025, a delegation of the undergraduate students majoring in Rural Regional Development from the China Agricultural University, led by Associate Professor Ms. Wang Yanlei, visited the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) to engage in exchanges and discussions on issues related to international cooperation in poverty reduction and development. Ms. Li Xin, Deputy Director General of IPRCC, attended the meeting.

Ms. Wang Yanlei introduced the purpose of the student delegation’s visit. Following the students’ self-introductions, Ms. Li Xin extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided an overview of IPRCC, including its founding background, development history, core mission, organizational structure, and international cooperation efforts. She emphasized the significance of China’s poverty alleviation experience in the context of South-South cooperation.

During the Q&A session, student representatives actively raised questions on topics such as the international poverty reduction situation, China’s foreign aid initiatives, and how to better tell China’s poverty alleviation stories to the international community. The discussion was lively and engaging.

Relevant staff from the Division of Foreign Affairs also participated in the meeting.
