On the morning of September 14, 2024 (Saturday), International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) held a evaluation meeting on the
Document Compilation and Experience Summary of World Bank Poverty Reduction Programs. Li Xin, Deputy Director General of IPRCC, attended the meeting.
Over the past 30 years, the Chinese Government, in cooperation with the World Bank, has successfully implemented a series of poverty alleviation projects, which have made important contributions to poverty alleviation and rural development in China. In order to systematically summarize the experiences and achievements related to China’s cooperation with the World Bank in implementing poverty alleviation projects, IPRCC will carry out the task of Document Compilation and Experience Summary of World Bank Poverty Reduction Programs, and sort out the cooperation background, main practices, successful experiences, relevant influences and enlightenment of poverty alleviation projects with World Bank.
Li Xin expressed her gratitude for the professional opinions put forward by the experts. She stressed that the IPRCC attached great importance to this task, and would like to take this opportunity to further deepen international exchanges and cooperation in poverty alleviation in the new era, while contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the world’s poverty alleviation and development.
