June 18, 2024, Li Xin, Deputy Director General of International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) shared her insights on the implementation of East Asia Poverty Reduction Cooperation Pilot Project at a seminar named “Reviewing International Development: Narrative, Governance and Practices” hosted by College of International Development and Global Agriculture of China Agricultural University.

Li introduced the basic information, implementation and outcomes of the Project on behalf of IPRCC, the leading agency in project design and assisting agency in project management. The Project is China’s first village-based Aid project on poverty reduction conducted in six project villages in Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar, The successful implementation of the project improves livelihood in project village, enhances self-development capacity of project villages, and fosters international knowledge exchanges on poverty reduction.
