On September 20, 2023, the Seminar on Chinese Government Aid Policy for Syria, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the International Poverty Reduction Center in China, was closed in Beijing.

Mr. Liu Junwen, General Director of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China, attended the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. Mr. AKKAD MOHAMED, Director General of Department from the Syrian Prime Minister's Office, and Ms. KALLAJI BASSIMA, Director General of Department from the Syrian Agency for Planning and International Cooperation, delivered speeches on behalf of the participants.

At the closing ceremony of the seminar, Director General Liu Junwen extensively listened to the opinions and suggestions of the participants, and introduced the issues related to China's rural development that the participants were interested in, such as education, medical care, science and technology, and finally awarded the completion certificate to the participants.

Seminar on Chinese Government Aid Policy for Syria was held in Beijing and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region from September 1 to 20, 2023, and was attended by 25 officials from the Syrian central government departments, including the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, the Agency for Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, and the Trust and Development Fund.
