On August 1st, 2023, the review meeting of the Fourth Global Poverty Reduction Case Series was held successfully at International Poverty Reduction Center in China onsite and online. Representatives from the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC), the China Internet Information Center (CIIC), the World Bank, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the World Food Programme (WFP), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA), the technical support team for the case collection, participated in the review meeting.

Ms. Li Xin, the Deputy Director General of IPRCC attended the meeting and introduced the Fourth Global Poverty Reduction Case Series collection activity. Ms. Jiao Meng, Deputy Director, of the Development Portal of CIIC, introduced the evaluation criteria considerations during the review process. Professor Gou Tianlai from BUA introduced the first batch of 40 cases orderly. Representatives of various institutions discussed and exchanged opinions of the cases and proposed modifications to the categorization of the cases, the refinement of the cases, the focus groups, and the wording of the language.

In addition, the representatives discussed the publication of the casebook and made preliminary planning for the publicity and promotion of the next case series activity.

Officials from International Exchange Division and Foreign Affairs Division of IPRCC participated the review meeting.
