On the afternoon of May 9 2023, Dr. Liu Junwen, Director-General of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) was invited to visit the Central Agricultural Radio and Television School (CARTS) and had a meeting with Mr. Liu Mingguo, Secretary of the Party Committee of CARTS, and Mr. Hu Yongwan, Executive Vice President of CARTS.

Dr. Liu Junwen introduced the mission, development, responsibilities, and future plans of IPRCC. Mr. Liu Mingguo introduced the general situation and main business of CARTS. Both sides expressed that they could strengthen the exchange and cooperation in joint activities, project collaboration, publicity and promotion and research in the future. 

During the visit, Dr. Liu Junwen also took a tour to the exhibition boards, training classrooms, live-action studios, virtual studios, the exhibition hall of the agricultural science and education cloud platform, and the broadcasting recording studio at the Agricultural Broadcasting Building.

Officials from International Exchanges Division of IPRCC participated in the meeting.
