On the morning of April 26, 2023, Ms. Li Xin, Deputy Director General of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC), attended the First World Expo on Digital Agriculture (WEDA) and delivered a speech at the “E-Commerce, Smart Future” International Development Forum.

Ms. Li Xin noted that digital villages and smart agriculture are important means to implement the Digital China initiative, and that digital technology will provide stronger support to guarantee national food security and consolidate the achievements of poverty eradication, promoting all-around rural revitalization.

Moreover, Ms. Li Xin talked about the exchanges and cooperation between IPRCC and international organizations and relevant countries on the promotion of the experience of poverty reduction and rural revitalization through digital technology, and expressed the will to deepen mutual learning with friends and partners at home and abroad to jointly promote the application of digital innovation methods in the field of poverty reduction and rural revitalization.
