In the afternoon of September 23,2022, Dr. Tan Weiping, Deputy Director General of International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) attended in the Dialogue on Promoting Global Development hosted by the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) . Dr. Tan Weiping made a speech in the session of "Poverty Reduction and International Development Cooperation".

Dr. Tan Weiping introduced the main work and results of IPRCC, under the leadership of NRRA, in promoting international exchange and cooperation on poverty reduction since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic. He reiterated that NRRA/IPRCC will ensure the delivering of the outcomes of the High-level Dialogue on Global Development, promote the establishment of the Global Alliance for Poverty Reduction and Development Partners, and contribute to the experience sharing and international cooperation on poverty reduction, and realization of the poverty reduction goal of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Themed as Shared Development--Theory and Practice in Poverty Reduction and Public Health, the dialogue focused on two topics "Poverty Reduction and International Development Cooperation" and "Responding to Public Health Events and Building a Human Health Community". More than 40 representatives from Russia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Laos, the World Food Programme, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and other countries and institutions participated in the dialogue. The staff of Cooperation Division attended as well.
