On September 9th, 2022,the Seminar on Rural Development and Poverty Reduction for Developing Countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and hosted by the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC), was held in Beijing. Dr. Zhang Huidong, Deputy Director General of IPRCC attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.Mr. Tadele Asmare, former Head of Youth Affairs Unit, Ministry of Industry, Ethiopia, and Mrs.Teburea Kaono, Rural Development Officer, Ministry of Interior, Republic of Kiribati, spoke on behalf of the participants of the training.

The seminar lasts 21 days and a total of 25 Government officials and researchers from poverty reduction, agriculture, public management, planning and development, education, economy, finance, international cooperation and other relevant departments in Ethiopia, Panama, Turkey, Kiribati and Jordan attend the seminar.
