The Seminar on Policy Planning and Implementation on Rural Development and Poverty Reduction for Bangladesh was successfully completed on March 31, 2022 in Beijing. The seminar was sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce and organized by the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC). Dr. Zhang Huidong, Deputy Director General of IPRCC, attended and addressed the concluding ceremony. Deputy Secretary Md. Rafiqul Haque and Senior Assistant Secretary Md. Jasim Uddin, from Planning Division, Ministry of Planning of Bangladesh delivered speeches on behalf of all participants.

Dr. Zhang Huidong pointed out，through thematic lectures, video-based field visits and country presentations, this seminar shared China's poverty reduction experience, strengthened the exchange and communication between China and Bangladesh in the fields of poverty reduction and rural development, expanded the practical cooperation of China and Bangladesh in the field of poverty reduction. The IPRCC would like to maintain communication with the Bangladesh participants, and jointly contribute to the development of humankind and the cause of global poverty reduction.

Finally, Dr. Zhang Huidong issued electronic certificates to the participants of the seminar.
