On the afternoon of March 23rd, a tripartite meeting on IPRCC-UNDP project was successfully held. Ms. Li Xin, Deputy Director General of IPRCC, Mr. Bai Chengyu, Division Director of China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges (CICETE), Dr. Zhang Weidong, Assistant Resident Representative of UNDP China Office, attended the meeting. Mr. Bai Chengyu chaired the meeting.

During the meeting, Ms. Li Xin reviewed the major outcomes of the IPRCC-UNDP Phase III project -- “Building Inclusive Development Cooperation on Poverty Reduction between China and Developing Countries” and presented on the project progress achieved in 2021. She also introduced the project work priorities in 2022.

Mr. Bai Chengyu and Dr. Zhang Weidong on behalf of CICETE and UNDP respectively spoke highly of the project outcomes achieved by IPRCC in implementing the IPRCC-UNDP Phase III project, and fully affirmed the important role of IPRCC in promoting global exchanges for poverty reduction and sustainable development. The three parties also held discussions on topics including strengthening tripartite cooperation under the project, integrating resources and promoting innovative cooperation mechanisms to achieve greater project outcomes etc.

Ms. Xie Jin, Deputy Division Director of CICETE, Ms. Wang Chen, Project Manager at UNDP China, Ms. Wang Huixian, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Division, IPRCC also participated in the meeting.
