Seminar on Poverty Reduction and Development for Developing Countries Ends in Beijing

The Seminar on Poverty Reduction and Development for Developing Countries was successfully completed on September 16, 2021 in Beijing. The seminar was sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce and organized by the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC). Mr. Zhang Huidong, Deputy Director General of IPRCC, attended and addressed the concluding ceremony.

With a theme of “Poverty Reduction and Development”, the seminar had three parts - special lectures, country speeches, video-based filed visits and shared China’s successful experience and effective practices in poverty reduction. 43 participants from 9 countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Myanmar, Tunisia and Zambia took part in the seminar .

Then, Mr. Daniel December, Zambian Team Leader at Youth with a mission and Ms. Kyi Kyi Win, Project officer at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation of Myanmar, delivered a speech on behalf of all the participants. Mr. Zhang Huidong issued electronic certificates of the participants of the seminar.
