On the afternoon of May 19th, 2021, Professor Wang Yanlei from the College of Humanities and Development Studies (COHD) of China Agricultural University (CAU) led a team of students to visit International Poverty Reduction Center in China, and had a discussion with young colleagues of IPRCC. This is a kind of social practice activities for the students to gain real-life development experiences. Ms. Li Xin, Deputy Director-General of IPRCC, attended the event and introduced to the students with China’s poverty reduction policies and successful practices, the focus of work on agriculture, rural areas and rural people after the shift from poverty alleviation to comprehensive rural revitalization, and IPRCC’s work on the international poverty reduction.

During the event, young colleagues from IPRCC shared their own work experience at the center and their participation in IPRCC’s work, and actively interacted with students of CAU on the policy design, hot issues, project implementation of poverty reduction and rural revitalization.
