International Poverty Reduction Center in China Pays Visit to the Training Center of the Ministry of Commerce to Discuss China-Aid Training Programs on Poverty Alleviation

On the morning of March 19, 2021, Zhang Huidong, Deputy Director General of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China paid a visit to the Training Center of the Ministry of Commerce and held talks with Chen Runyun, Deputy Director General of the Training Center of the Ministry of Commerce. The two sides exchanged views on how to organize China-Aid Training Programs on Poverty Alleviation in 2021.

Mr. Zhang expressed appreciation for the long-term support from the Training Center of the Ministry of Commerce, and introduced the progress of online training programs in 2021.

Mr. Chen affirmed the achievements on training programs of International Poverty Reduction Center in China, and expressed his hope that the two institutes would further collaborate in developing public courses for China’s poverty reduction, and produce intellectual products that would be available for the whole training system, so as to contribute to China-Aid Training Programs when the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading around the world.
