The International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) held the 8th Promotion Meeting of the East Asia Poverty Reduction Cooperation Pilot Project (hereinafter referred to as “the Project”) in the afternoon of November 4 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.

The meeting was held in a combination of online and offline. A total of 25 representatives from the project implementation entities such as the Foreign Capital Poverty Alleviation Project Management Center of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the International Poverty Reduction and Development Center of Yunnan Province, and the Project Center of Sichuan Poverty Alleviation and Development Bureau, and long-term experts in Cambodia and Myanmar, and consultants attended the meeting. On the basis of exchanging the progress of project implementation, they discussed the promotion of project implementation, preparation for completion acceptance, archives and financial management, improving publicity, and planning for future projects at the meeting.

Dr. Tan Weiping, Deputy Director General of the IPRCC, attended the meeting and made a concluding speech. Relevant personnel from the Cooperation Division of the IRRCC attended the meeting.
