The 2020 GDLN Asia-Pacific Annual Conference Successfully Held

On July 6, 2020, the 2020 GDLN (Global Development Learning Network) Annual Conference was successfully held in the form of videoconferencing. This conference was hosted by Korea Development Institute, and attended by over 20 representatives from China, Republic of Korea, Australia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Thailand, including Zhang Huidong, Deputy Director General of IPRCC, who, on behalf of IPRCC, briefed the representatives on major business we carried out in 2019 and our 2020 work plan.

At the conference, the content of the 2019 GDLN Global Council Meeting and the work done by GDLN in the Asia-Pacific region in 2019 were reviewed and summarized, and the representatives from these countries shared typical cases and exchanged experiences and practices in the domain of knowledge sharing, discussed modes and methods for sharing knowledge, and put forward constructive opinions on the future sustainable development of the GDLN network. And new items were added to this year's conference agenda: discussions on topics with relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and the planning for the activity in celebration of GDLN's 20th anniversary.

The conference was also participated in by the heads and young officials of IPRCC’s Foreign Affairs Division, Research Division, International Exchanges Division and Training Divisions.
