8 to 11 January, 2013 --- IPRCC sent staff to attend the 2013 Annual Meeting of GDLN AP held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The meeting convenes once a year. This year, the meeting was organized by BRAC University’s GDLN Center and attracted more than 40 delegates from 11 countries in the Asian-Pacific Region. Mr. Philip Karp, Regional GDLN Coordinator, East Asia and Pacific, World Bank, Ms. Ellen Goldstein, World Bank Country Director for Bangladesh, and Dr. A K Azad Chowdhury, Chairman of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh addressed the opening ceremony.

The meeting reviewed the development status of GDLN AP since the 2012 GDLN Shanghai Meeting, and focused on the regional knowledge cooperation projects and other potential projects to be carried out in 2013. The meeting also introduced the application and future development of GDLN AP platform and conducted “Art of Knowledge Exchange” capacity training for the delegates.
