January 20, 2011--- "Yearbook of China's Poverty Alleviation and Development (2010)" Summarizing and 2011 Yearbook Compilation Preparatory Meeting was held in Beijing. It aims at comprehensively summarizing the experience of 2010 "Yearbook" compilation and prepare for 2011 Yearbook compilation to ensure the successful compilation of 2011 Yearbook.

Zheng Wenkai, Deputy Director-General of LGOP, attended the meeting and proposed the schedule for 2011 Yearbook compilation. IPRCC Director-General Xu Hui summarized the compilation of "Yearbook of China's Poverty Alleviation and Development (2010)". IPRCC Deputy Director-General He Xiaojun presented 2011 Yearbook outline and put forward specific requirements on the compilation. Later on, associate editor He Xiaojun and contributing editor Tang Lixin of Yearbook (2010) and Editorial Director Lu Guangde from China Financial and Economic Publishing House respectively delivered presentation on the yearbook's manuscript selection, content screening, writing, editing and revising and the analysis of typical cases. The participating representatives exchanged views on relevant issues and made specific comments and suggestions.

A total of nearly 100 people attended the meeting, in where includes representatives from LGOP, LGOP member units, provincial poverty alleviation and development offices, relevant departments of the eastern provinces and municipalities involved in poverty alleviation, “Yearbook” editors and publishing department as well as the representatives of relevant enterprises.
