Speech on the 5th Anniversary of IPRCC

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guinea to P.R.C.

I am very honored to make a brief congratulation on the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China.

So far, IPRCC has carried out sustained and fruitful work in the past 5 years and achieved enviable goals in poverty reduction knowlede sharing training and cooperation .

However, we must redouble our efforts for a sustained action to effectively combat the poverty which, now displays various forms in different countries.

In fact, the poverty, once associated with the rural areas, has appreciably spread to urban areas and generated a new group of poor for whom the caring mechanisms should be implemented in a sustainable way.

For the specific case of China, we have seen, over the few years since we came here, that the poverty has been considerably reduced and the blueprint of a harmonious society is becoming more visible.

We wish, for our chinese sisters and brothers and for all of us from other nations, that this new hope may come true.

Thanks to the international organizations especialy the UN family who, in their diversity, share the same target : - Building a better world free of all that causes poverty in the human world.

Good luck to the International Poverty Reduction Center in China and long live the solidarity among the nations and peoples which is consolidated by a responsible and calm dialogue, the source of trust and necessity for a global action to fight against the scourge that handicaps our humanity.
