President of the African Center for Economic Transformation Visited IPRCC

October 28, 2010---IPRCC Deputy Director-General Huang Chengwei received the visiting delegation headed by President K. Y. Amoako of the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) and his assistant Charles Dollie.

Founded in 2007 in Accra, the capital of Ghana, ACET is engaged in promoting the high quality policy analysis and consulting services and assisting the African governments with long-term growth and African economic restructuring.

At the meeting, Mr.Huang began by presenting the basic profile of IPRCC, particularly its activities in Africa. Then Mr. Amoako briefed on ACET. Both parties conducted a detailed discussion on China-Africa cooperation in the field of poverty reduction and agriculture development, and put forward several aspects for future collaboration.
