March 29, 2010---The Preleminary Session of the 5th IPRCC Board of Trustees (BoT) Annual Meeting was held today at Beijing’s Fraternal Cooperation International Hotel. Delegates of BoT member organizations, including the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development (LGOP), Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), Ministry of Finance (MOF), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU), UNDP, WB, ADB and DFID, attended the meeting.

Director General Wu Zhong presented  the IPRCC Report on the  Summary of Activities, 2009  and Work Plan  for 2010. The delegates then had a participatory discussion on the Report and the Work Plan. They fully recognized the achievements accomplished by the Center in 2009 and endorsed the work plan  for 2010.  The delegates also  made their valuable comments and suggestions with regard to IPRCC development strategy, focus, research capacity,  institutional building,  communication strategies and the IPRCC annual report. It was agreed  in the meeting that the 5th BoT Plenary Session  will be held in Beijing on April 9, 2010, and the conference agenda was discussed and approved.   IPRCC Deputy Director General Dr. Huang Chengwei chaired the meeting, and the relevant IPRCC division chiefs were also present at the meeting.
