2010 “Poverty Reduction and Development Forum” will take place in Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse on October 17. The theme of  this year's forum is “Economic Transition and Development”. A wide range of participants will be invited to discuss the impact of economic crisis upon global poverty reduction and relevant countermeasures of social development, aimed at raising the concerns of international community on development and poverty reduction, further promoting international exchanges and cooperation.
