Mission

The Poverty Analysis and Data Initiative (PADI), an informal network of data producers, analysts, policy makers and development partners, was launched in 2001 as part of a global capacity building effort by the World Bank Institute (WBI) and its partner institutions. .Its mission is to improve analytic capacity in poverty analysis and to establish effective synergies in data production and policymaking for improved impact on poverty reduction.
