During the exchange, besides the discussion at the meeting, delegates learnt the effective practices of dealing with deep poverty in Hebian Village, and the Yao culture. They went to Manli Village for field visits, interacted with the villagers, and visited the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to learn about protection and development of Chinese tropical plants.
