Master of Public Administration in International Development at Tsinghua University
Introduction
The School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) at Tsinghua University and International Poverty Reduction Centre in China (IPRCC) jointly launched a Degree Course, Master of Public Administration in International Development (MID). The School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) at Tsinghua University, founded in 2000, is a pioneer in public policy and development studies in China. The mission of the school is to provide academic and professional training programs in public management and to pursue academic excellence and practical application in public policy and management research. This program is designed to prepare students to become active global citizens and to enhance their understanding of China’s development experience. The program focuses on public policy from an international perspective, combining rigorous training in analytical and quantitative methods with an emphasis on Chinese practices and sustainable development. In addition, the program provides graduate students with field experiences in a range of disciplines, including agriculture, policy, health, engineering, management, environmental science, education, and nutrition.
